Finally I've gotten the chance to interview this awesome designer by name of Jeffrey Tindi. Not only that but this fella here is the designer of "I AM A GOD" tees over at our online store. Collaborating with him was a spiritual experience. We connected when it came to this project.He is a designer about detail . He saw the vision and made it his own.I am beyond pleased with his work.
After the tee design was done I knew I had to interview Tindi. The knowledge and maturity was just spilling out of him that we had to film a video;which will be releasing soon. Until then check out his interview below.

Introducing Khary Durgans; a young guy with a sick flow with branding of a yellow raincoat. Lyrics of his takes the listener on a deep journey to his life, thoughts and cool vibes. Get to know Khary below.
KHARY:A dope rapper from Providence, RI that now lives in Brooklyn. I started rapping in high school with my brother but eventually found I my own sound.
LYFE:Who is Khary Durgans?
KHARY:A dope rapper from Providence, RI that now lives in Brooklyn. I started rapping in high school with my brother but eventually found I my own sound.
LYFE:What genre/ who musically influences you?
KHARY:Hip-Hop is my biggest
influence but I really like all types of music. I’m a sucker for anything
mellow/ambient that has deep lyrics. Lupe Fiasco, K-os, and Kanye West were the
first artist to really reach me as a youth. Often feels like I grew up through
music.
LYFE:What's with the yellow raincoat? Form of
branding?
KHARY:The raincoat started
about 4 years ago when I saw one in an army navy store. No clue why at that
moment, but I just thought it was so dope so I had to buy it. My homie that was
with me when I bought it thought I was crazy but something weird that I can’t
describe came over me. About 2 years ago I started wearing it at shows and it
became branding when I moved to New York. I had to find a way that I could be
remembered in a city so big. Turned out it was already under my nose. Happened so
naturally to me. Yellow is a humble color that at the same time says “LOOK AT
ME”.

INTERVIEW x SEAN TAILOR

While attending Art Institute with this guy I didn't like him. No seriously I didn't. The talent he had with Adobe Illustrator pissed me off. I was like; "why is he even in this school; he clearly has it down packed".After I mentioned it to him after a couple months he humorously laughed; taking it as a joke while I had a serious blank look on my face.
I had liked how his designs gave me street edge vibe and how unconventional it is. You just never know what he going to design next.
I said to him; "design a t-shirt design for LYFE and what it means to you." This guy.. as usual killed it. The shirt will be for sale on a later date and.... I just might show you the design.
Now let's jump into this interview with Sean.
LYFE: What is your creative venture you do?
I am a Graphic Designer. specializing in logo design & typography.
LYFE: When did you start designing?
I began creating my first couple of pieces around the age of 13 & slowly continued teaching myself new techniques
Well yes & no. the first school I attended was Atlanta Technical College in of course Atlanta ga, lol. I studied visual communications. Then sometime after that I began attending the Art Institute of Atlanta-Decatur. There, I would say I discovered exactly what type of designer I was.
LYFE: Do you think for designers its important to go to school?
SEAN: Honestly I feel like school isn't for everyone. And unfortunately society says that we need diplomas. But truthfully an artists skill is shown
LYFE: What is your design style and how did it come to be?
SEAN: I would describe it as like a sophisticated urban swank, in a sense. lol
LYFE: Your a freelance graphic designer; is it difficult to get work?
SEAN: Actually sometimes it is. especially when you're pushing your work on your own. but overall it's all on your determination and drive to get work. but to be real, one thing I hate. (& I think most can agree). is it's unbelievable what people expect to get, & what they expect to pay for it. lol it's crazy.
LYFE: Whats your process when your about to create a logo?
SEAN: My process though I know it's the taught way of doing things is just hoping on the board (Adobe Illustrator) and just feel it. feel whatever project I'm working on in a sense.

When I heard Marc's mixtape "Marc Madness" my mouth dropped. My reaction was why the heck isn't he signed to Reach Records. After then I knew I wanted to interview him. Also stay tuned for a video interview this week with Marc.
LYFE: Who is Mr Marc Griffin?
MARC: I am a child of God who ran or did my own thing,but now I'm just here with God wanting to learn how to love. I've experienced and been through a lot even at my age but God loved me enough to keep me. I'm just a grateful, forgiven sinner.LYFE:Your genre of music is classified as Christian hip-hop. What drew you to this genre? MARC:As of right now I don't focus too much on Genres because my music is very, very diverse and I believe that it was given to me to touch all different types of people of different backgrounds. What drew me is the fact that God changed me and with that He changed my music. I couldn't be a changed person but my music still be of the same content right?
LYFE:Your sound reminds me off the 116 Clique of Reach Records. Is it accidental ?
MARC:I wouldn't call it an accident. I started doing my street gospel music back in 2008 and I never knew about the group but I was introduced to the Cross Movement's music back in 08-09. I truly appreciate 116 and all they do we are brothers and we're on the same team! My music comes from my experience and from other people's experience around me and it also comes from my personality! I just write from who I am but to hear that I remind someone of 116 is a compliment!
LYFE:Why music verses other ventures?
MARC:I started writing when I was nine and it was a form of expression. It has always been my passion so I want to stay true to who I am and what I know. I could go to school to become a doctor, but is that my dream? Is that what God has given me to do?
LYFE:What is your goal for your career?
MARC:To continue to do what I am doing with my music but on a much broader scale. Also to continue my poetry, speaking, acting, writing, and to write for others. I want to be able to help other people accomplish their goals.
