Another throwback for music Monday. "I wanna be down" remix is a collaboration by Brandy, MC Lyte, YO YO and Queen Latifah. The hit came out 1994 when I was a mere infant but can appreciate it now at 21. A friend shared this on Facebook and I thought to myself; "oh snap this is nice! I respect the sisters coming together on this song. Multiple sister MCs rocking the mic with a melodic chorus and calming beat. No competition amongst them; only done for the love of music."Below is a reunion of this song at the BET Hip Hop Awards .
