Java Monkey in downtown Decatur is the place to go for insanely good poetry. Every 2nd Sunday is Slam where poets compete to on other competitions out of Georgia.Evry other Sunday is open mic night for poetry. I must say evryone who performed heated up that stage, their poem either left me thinking or inspired. Defineately this has become the spot for poetry.
